Point-In-Time Count


The City of New Bedford we will be conducting its annual Homeless Point-In-Time Count. The Homeless Point-in-Time Count is a one day or 24 hour, count of sheltered and unsheltered homeless individuals and families in the city. The data we collect during the count is used to help plan services for the homeless throughout the year.

We need you to help! We are looking for 50+ volunteers to help us conduct our annual Point-In-Time Count as well as distribute necessary items to our homeless neighbors. All volunteers will need to attend a one hour mandatory training session at Positive Action Against Chemical Addiction (PAACA) located at 360 Coggeshall Street, New Bedford at 5:00 pm on January 21st.
